God gives us courage and gifts to carry out His will for our lives

We are sons and daughters of God and our father will take care of us. We have nothing to fear. Just as we take care of our children, our father takes care of us. That is a promise of God.

Romans 8:15 (AMP) 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading again to fear [of God’s judgment], but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons [the Spirit producing sonship] by which we [joyfully] cry, “[a]Abba! Father!”

In the world we live in today, there’s great opportunity for fear. We do not have to be afraid. We can’t look at the things we fear from the human standpoint but rather the Godly standpoint. Bottom line is we are in God’s hands and even if something would happen to end our lives here on earth, we know we are going to heaven. God has not given us a spirit of fear – fear comes from the devil. God gives us courage and gifts to carry out His will for our lives.

Luke 21:25-27 (AMP) 25 “There will be signs (attesting miracles) in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth [there will be] distress and anguish among nations, in perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea and the waves, 26 people fainting from fear and expectation of the [dreadful] things coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with [transcendent, overwhelming] power [subduing the nations] and with great glory.

The crazier the world gets, the closer we get to seeing our savior. These are tough times to live in today. If this is the time you are in, then it is the time God chose for you to be in it – and God has an assignment for you for this very time He placed you here on earth. Don’t just look at the problems in the world, but what God can do in the world today and what He can do through you.

Isaiah 35:4 (AMP) Say to those with an anxious and panic-stricken heart, “Be strong, fear not! Indeed, your God will come with vengeance [for the ungodly]; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.”

God has peace and it is a gift from Him to us. We all have peace, we just have to discipline ourselves to remain peaceful in a world and in situations that have no peace. Don’t let the devil steal the peace from you that Jesus died to give you. Sometimes we have to sleigh our own giants and that giant is fighting how we need to in order to maintain peace and carry out God’s will in our lives.

John 14:27 (AMP) 27 Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God to let Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
