Over the years we fear different things in life. One thing that comes in and out of our lives is doubt and self-doubt. We doubt God will help us and we doubt ourselves in situations. We can do all things in Christ. We may not be able to do anything in ourselves but we can do much with Christ’s help.
James 1:6 (AMPC) 6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
The only way we can move forward boldly with Godly confidence is step out and not be afraid to make mistakes in what we do. We don’t have to fear mistakes because we are going to make them. Without stepping out in faith and doing things afraid we will never know what it is we can accomplish in life. When we make a mistake and fall down, God will always reach His hand out to us and pick us up so we can get up!
Romans 4:20 (AMPC) 20 No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,
Don’t be so addicted to safety that you don’t step out in faith and progress forward. We all have things we would like to try to do but we are just a little bit afraid. Be bold and step out and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit for your life. God has a great big wonderful life planned for us.
To live we must walk in faith. Doubt is sent to war against our faith. Doubt is something the Devil uses to confuse us and war against our faith. Be strong and courageous because the Lord God is with you every step of the way as you walk your journey in life.
Deuteronomy 31:6 (AMPC) 6 Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God to let Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
