The fear and behavior relationship

2 Peter 3:14 (AMPC) 14 So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish and at peace [in serene confidence, [a]free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].

We all have fear in our lives. Some of our own fears we do not even recognize. Those fears sometimes make us react and behave a certain way in situation. Once we get to the root of our behavior and we realize it may be fear causing us to act the way we do, we must confront that fear. It’s tough to confront fear but we must remember that God is always with us.

Luke 18:1 (AMP) 18 Now Jesus was telling the disciples a parable to make the point that at all times they ought to pray and not give up and lose heart,

Many times we run from our fears. The Devil uses fear to keep us from our God-ordained destiny. We choose not to deal with what we need to deal with because we may not be fond of confrontation. Courage is moving forward in the face of fear and doing what we need to do to conquer fear. God will help us because He is walking life with us on our daily walk. God is available to us more than just on Sunday mornings.

Revelation 2:10 (AMP) 10 Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Be aware that the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested [in your faith], and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful to the point of death [if you must die for your faith], and I will give you the crown [consisting] of life.

It is time to stop living with regret and start living with faith. We must exercise our faith every moment of every day – we are to live and walk in faith. In order to walk in faith we must trust in God. The more our faith builds, the more courageous we will be.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP) for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]—

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
