2 Peter 1:3 (AMP) 3 For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through [a]true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
You have what it takes to be successful in life. The fear of inadequacy or that we are not enough is a great fear that many of us have. This kind of thinking robs us from fulfilling our purpose in life. It is not about who we are in ourselves but who we are in Christ and what Christ can do through us. God will always give us what we need to do if He asks us to do something.
John 15:16 (AMP)16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.
God has given us everything we need to live the best possible life we can live. We need to learn out of our heart and quit over thinking every little thing in life. When we think too much it can get us in trouble. We don’t want to just throw out using any kind of discernment but we need to make sure we don’t let the devil put junky thoughts in our mind that will keep us from progressing toward what God has in store for us.
God may not give us what we think we want, but He will give us what we need. We cannot control situations and people in life – we cannot let that consume us to the point where we stop being fruitful in life and we let it steal our joy and even steal who we are as a person. We may not be able to control situations and people but we can control how we choose to react to events and people. Trusting God requires giving up trying to control everything in life. Jesus wants us to pray and believe.
When you know in your heart that God loves you then you have no problem in life not being perfect because you know who you are in Christ. We can choose to believe whatever it is we want to believe. I choose to believe that God has my back and is taking care of me all the days of my life no matter what my outer circumstances may look like.
Psalm 23:6 (AMP) 6 Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
