The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in us

Romans 8:28 (AMP) 28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in us. We all have a journey set out for us to walk and every journey is different for each of us. Sometimes we cannot seem to figure out what our purpose is in our journey. We can pray to be led by the Holy Spirit to fulfill our God-given destiny in life. When we pray to God, He will show us what we need to say and do on our journey.

Joshua 1:9 (AMP) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God can help us change when we want to change and every day we change from glory to glory into Him image. Sometimes the changes are so small we do not even recognize them. When we do not see our little victories it is easy to feel discouraged or as if we have not grown at all. Rest assured if you are working with God you are changing. Don’t get discouraged because one day you will wake up and think, wow, I have come a long way. Praise God.

Jude 2-3 (AMP) May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you [filling your heart with the spiritual well-being and serenity experienced by those who walk closely with God]. Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I was compelled to write to you [urgently] appealing that you [a]fight strenuously for [the defense of] the faith which was once for all [b]handed down to the saints [the faith that is the sum of Christian belief that was given verbally to believers].

We are a target for the devil and the devil does not want us to progress so He will do everything He can to keep us from moving forward in our relationship with God. When that happens we tend to get discouraged and even lose faith. Don’t lose faith, it is the faith that keeps us in relationship with God and the devil knows that. Fight the devil by fighting the good fight of faith and staying true to what you feel God is leading you to do in life.

It is time we stop trying to figure why things are happening and just believe!

James 1:22 (AMP) 22 But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth].

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your hear.t:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
