Think about the possibilities in life not the problems

Hebrews 12:2 (AMPC) Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Celebrate your victories. Many times we grieve our mistakes so much that we can’t even see the progress we have made. When we learn to celebrate our victories it can drastically change our outlook on life. We all have something to worry about and get upset about. But we do not have to put our focus on the worry. We can focus on the positive.

1 Peter 5:7 (AMPC) Casting the [a]whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, [b]once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you [c]watchfully.

We can do our responsibility in our problem and cast our cares to God for things we cannot do anything about. It is okay to enjoy and have fun in life regardless of having bad circumstances. There are just some things we can do absolutely nothing about – we cannot let the devil steal our joy in our situation!

Learn to focus on good things. What we focus on and think about is what we magnify or make larger in our lives. What we talk about is what we become more consciously aware of. Think about the possibilities in life not the problems.

We can learn to celebrate victories and give ourselves a break! We can learn to celebrate the good rather than grieve excessively everything that has gone wrong. No matter where we started in life, we can have a good finish. We can overcome any plan the devil has for our lives.

1 Corinthians 15:5 (AMPC) 57 But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
