It is not easy to stay on that narrow path of making right choices

Ephesians 1:17 (AMPC) 17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

God has strategically placed each and every one of us in the earth for a very specific reason. Wherever it is we are at, it is up to us to shine our light onto others, treat others right, and share the love of God.

We do have an enemy named Satan. Satan comes to deceive us – to make people believe that wrong things are okay for people to do. It is important for us as believers to be in the world and not of it. It is not easy to stay on that narrow path of making right choices. A lot of us even put off our relationship with God for when it is convenient for us.

Ephesians 3:20 (AMPC) 20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—

Who is God? Everyone has a perception of who and what they think God is. God is often times misunderstood and blamed for things. We see God in everyday things and we become so accustomed to things that we miss the little things we see each day that God does. We have a way of overlooking the simple blessings in life. God is there with us everywhere we go and guides us daily with each and every step. We do not have one problem that God cannot solve. God is able to do above all we dare ask for.

When we really know who God is, we desire that personal relationship with him. Make it your purpose to get to know your creator and to recognize all of the things that God does for you each and every day. Watch for the little blessings – don’t just look for the big miracles.

Philippians 3:10 (AMPC) 10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [[a]which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
