Without that pain we would not have growth

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (AMPC) 51 Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed) 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed).

Whatever ails us, God’s word is medicine for our soul. Whatever ails us physical, spiritual, or mental, God has what we need to heal in every area of our life. Refills on the Word are free and endless. God’s word is available to heal each and every one of us.   The side effects of the medicine in God’s word is peace, happiness, contentment and many other rewards.

We tend to get confused when we try to figure things out for ourselves – or medicate ourselves with what we think feels good or is good for us at the time. We make decisions without relying on or leaning on God. Somethings we go through things that will be painful. Without that pain we would not have growth. We need to get to the point where we are okay with not knowing everything and trying to control our outcome and just trust God that He knows what He is doing in our lives.

The devil will constantly be nagging us to take action immediately when we start to feel uncomfortable. When we take action immediately we forget to do one simple thing – consult God first. God wants to be our partner in our decisions. Big decisions and little decisions. We do not have to always listen to the devil when He tells us to act on something. God does know what is best for us and He will work out everything for our good.

We can go on enjoying life while we are trusting God in our trial. Seems like a difficult thing to do but it is very possible. There are some things we may just not have answers for. The world is full of mysteries and mysterious people. We get so rattled about things we do not understand. We should be amazed by the mysteries of earth and heaven.

You can go through life not knowing things, be happy, and have peace. I don’t need to understand everything God is doing in my life I just need to know and trust that he is good.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
