John 10:10 (AMP) 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].
It is God ordained for us to enjoy life! We all enjoy pleasures of life – but what about enjoying mundane things in life – enjoying every day as it comes? It requires effort and power of the Holy Spirit to help us to do that. When we are not enjoying each moment it requires an attitude adjustment for us. We have to put effort into changing our attitude in order to see results.
God is with us every single place that we go. He is concerned with every single thing that we do – mundane or not. Mundane things can become very special when you do them for and before God. There are things we just have to do in life and dreading what we have to do will not make those things go away. Our situation just might not change so we might as well figure out how to enjoy it.
We have to stop waiting for life to change in order to enjoy it. We are the ones that need to change to enjoy life. We can learn to be peaceful and enjoy life simply by making a slight attitude adjustment. If we do not enjoy life on purpose we may never get to the point of being peaceful and happy in the ordinary day.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
