John 16:24 (AMPC) 24 Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I Am]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.
We can ask for what we need and receive the blessings God will bestow on us. We have to ask and believe God is working on the situation so we can go on enjoying our lives. When people we love have problems that they do not seem to want to fix, instead of forcing something on them we can say our prayers for them and cast our cares and let God work with them. We cannot rescue everyone. People have to be ready to be helped.
John 17:13 (AMPC) 13 And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].
When we learn to pray and let God handle situations then we can begin to enjoy life a little bit more. If we are not enjoying life so much, maybe it is time to ask ourselves – are we casting our car or are we trying to control people and situations around us.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
