We cannot make God act faster than he does – there are some problems you cannot fix – only God can

Philippians 4:6-7 (AMP) Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

Many times we over complicate our lives with our own thoughts and worry. We can choose to believe that good things will happen in our lives. We do not have to wake up dreading the day – we can wake up with the attitude that something good will happen each and every day. Be determined to live the life that Jesus died to give us. If you refuse to live a hopeless life and believe that good things will happen, you will see some pretty great changes in your life. If nothing good happens in a day, the good thing you got was a happy positive attitude for the day – so that is actually something good.

We are not to fret, because we ca have hope that God will work the day out the way it is supposed to be worked out. It is not easy to give the problem to God because many times we want to solve our problems ourselves because we get impatient waiting for God to act. We cannot make God act faster than he does.   We can do our responsibility for the day, pray, give our care to God, and do what God tells us to do. If God doesn’t lead us to do something that day, then we wait until He does lead us to do something. While we are waiting to hear from God we can live in peace knowing that God knows and understands our problems.

We can cast our care on God because God cares for us. God will always take care of us. Continue to meditate on the word and pray so He can show you what actions to take. If you are unsure of what to do, just ask yourself if you feel peace about the action you are about to take. If the answer is no – then wait until you do have peace about it. Trusting God will help us to stop worrying.

We need to stop living off the top of our mind and start living in discernment. We can choose to live by the discernment of the Holy Spirit or by what our mind tells us to do. They key is knowing in your heart that there are some problems you cannot fix – only God can.

1 Peter 5:6-7 (AMP) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
