Job 42:10 (AMP) 10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Job had a tough time and his friends blamed his behavior for everything that was going wrong in his life. Regardless of what his friends were saying about him, Job still prayed for his friends. And when he prayed for those who blamed his behavior for his circumstances, the Lord gave him twice as much as before. Job was rewarded for forgiving those who blamed him.
It is a waste of time to be angry at people. Would you rather pay someone back yourself for the hurt they’ve caused you or would you rather have God pay them back? Hurting people hurt people and likely they hurt you out of their own pain – that is why we should pray for those who hurt us. We should not gossip and talk about those who hurt us, but pray for them. God has a reward for us and we can have it when we make right choices.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
