Sometimes we need to fall down a few times in order to understand humility

Genesis 28:15 (AMP)15 And behold, I am with you and will keep (watch over you with care, take notice of) you wherever you may go, and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done all of which I have told you.

Sometimes we need to fall down a few times in order to understand humility. Falling down will teach us to trust God and understand that God is in control – not us. God uses our circumstances to change us and to build our character into the character of Christ. When it seems as if we cannot see God in our situation it does not mean that he is not there. God is there every step of the way, turning us into the Christian He wants us to be. God loves us too much to leave us alone. God is with us all of the time – even when we do not feel His presence He is with us. When we fall down, we need to fight the devil with the Word of God.

Matthew 6:26 (AMP) 26 Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?

You are worth more than a bird. God has his eye on you and he will take care of you. God has marked us as His own. We belong to God. God has set us aside to carry out His will for our life. God will lead us into a wonderful life, but we have to be willing to follow His lead.

Luke 12:7 (AMP) But [even] the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be struck with fear or seized with alarm; you are of greater worth than many [flocks] of sparrows.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
