We can talk ourselves out of a pity-party just by changing our mind-set about our circumstances

Romans 15:13 (AMP) 13 May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.

When we have hope, we have expectation that something good is going to happen. We may not feel like something positive is going to happen based on our current circumstances, but we can change our feelings just by changing our thoughts about our circumstances. We can talk ourselves out of a pity-party just by changing our mind-set about our circumstances.

We can get to a place where we do not let our circumstances to determine the amount of hope and joy we have in our life. We can decide today to be full of hope. We have the power to make ourselves happy with our thoughts, our words, and our attitude. We do not have to wait for a special feeling to be happy. We can make a decision to live happy and hopeful and our feelings will eventually catch up with our decisions and action.

Doubt and negativity steal our hope. A hopeful person refuses to be negative. This doesn’t mean they don’t recognize and deal with the circumstances, but rather, they choose to remain hopeful in thought and conversation about their attitude.

Proverbs 15:15 (AMP) 15 All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
