We do not have to provide perfect behavior for God to work through us ~ just be willing to do His will

Ephesians 2:10Amplified Bible (AMP) 10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

We are here to do good works. God enabled us to do them when we asked him to fill our heart. The more we do good works of God the more we will live the great life that He has stored up for us. The best way to get into the habit obedience to God is to practice it with the little things. Then when big things come along it will be easier to be obedient to what He is leading us to do. Our purpose is to fulfill the will of God (not the will of me).

Setting our mind is extremely important. As each day starts we can set our mind on how we want our day to go and then pray about it with God. Setting our mind is the first thing we need to do to have good behavior. Every day we should offer our actions to God. God wants to work through us to comfort and speak to other people.

God can work through anyone who is willing. We do not have to provide perfect behavior for God to work through us, just be willing to do His will.

Hebrews 10:5-7Amplified Bible (AMP) Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer]; In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight. Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God—[to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
