Exodus 14:13-15 (AMP) 13 Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. 15 The Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!
The feeling of fear will never completely go away in our lives. We will always feel fear – but we must continue to move forward in the face of fear. Do not let fear conquer you. Fear prevents progress. Confronting fear is one of the most difficult things we have to do. Confrontation is something we usually do not enjoy. But if we never learn to confront what we need to confront then we will never have the life that is possible for us to have.
Moses was leading the people to a place where they would still have to face enemies. We will all have to face enemies in life. We cannot let the fear of facing our enemies keep us from reaching the Promised Land. Any time we make progress the Devil will try to stop us. We have to learn to stand our ground and continue to press forward in the face of fear the Devil puts in front of us. Never lose your destiny because you are afraid to confront the things you need to confront in life. The pain of growth is temporary, but the joy of overcoming is everlasting.
Do not stay in a miserable situation because you are afraid of the unknown. Do not give up – press through and go forward so you can have all that God wants you to have.
Romans 8:37 (AMP) 37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [a]and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
