When we learn to think differently about our situations we can have an amazing and great life

John 14:27 (AMP) 27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

We all have certain gifts. We need to be content with how we are and who we are and stop wishing we had what others had or that we looked like someone else. We are who we are and we can learn to love ourselves just the way we are. We do not have to let people and circumstances control our joy. We can be content and emotionally stable.

We can stop ourselves from getting upset all of the time. Many times we have excuses for our behaviors. It is time to take responsibility for our thoughts and actions and stop using people and situations as an excuse for negative behavior. When we learn to think differently about our situations we can have an amazing and great life.

If there’s anger from the past or current, many times we tend to take that anger out on other people. Hurting people hurt people. We can stop our anger so it does not hurt other people. We can feel upset bubbling up in us before we react with a negative behavior. The time to stop the negative behavior is when you start feeling the upset bubbling up inside of you. Stop the thought before it becomes a negative action. Remind yourself that you are content.

It is miserable to be controlled by emotions. What a tragic thing to let our emotions guide our happiness and behavior. As soon as we feel negativity or upset in any way we need to cast that aside and ask God to help us change the negative with something positive. The devil sets us up to get us upset. It is time we upset Him by not reacting negatively to situations and be content.

We have so many little and big things to be thankful for that we tend to overlook. We can develop a thankful and positive lifestyle by replacing bad habits with good habits.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
