Use rejection as a stepping stone to spiritual maturity

John 15:16 (AMP) 16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you.

There is nothing more painful than being rejected by people. People may reject us, but God will never reject us. We are never rejected by God. God loves us no matter what kind of miserable mess we are. His love is that great. The devil uses rejection from people to keep us from moving forward in life. The devil does not want us to grow spiritually. Use rejection as a stepping stone to spiritual maturity instead of a pit to fall into. What we do with the feeling of rejection is our choice.

Sometime God wants us to remove people from our lives that might be poisoning it and we don’t even realize it. We should not put our confidence in people but in God. People can betray us. What we do with betrayal is important. We can hold onto bitter feelings or we can choose to love and pray for that person and to set boundaries in our relationship with them.

When people hurt us, it can be so difficult to forgive them. A lot of time when people hurt us, they are hurting themselves and acting out on their own pain. Much of the time people don’t even realize they hurt us.

Romans 8:28 (AMP)28 We are assured and know that [[a]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
