James 1:12 (AMP) 12 Blessed (happy, [a]to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.
We all have tests. When we are tested we have to go through things. We want promotion but we cannot be promoted until we’ve been tested. It is time to stop running from tests and head to the start line with determination and run the race to the finish line.
We all have things we would rather run from then face in life.
Some things are the result of our own choices and some things just happen to us that we must endure. That endurance will help us to develop in spiritual maturity. God is training us for greatness. Some of us unfortunately have several things we have to face each day. The best way to handle those things, is one thing at a time. God wants to help us run our race, and run it with victory.
It seems like we just face issue after issue after issue. Issues arise so we can refine our character to become more like God.
Maybe it is a compliment from God when we are faced with several issues at once, because He thinks we are ready for that. When we do what we can do in our situations, God will do what we cannot do. When we work as partners our situation works out and our character is developed little by little.
Whatever the issues are in our life – confront them. Don’t waste any more days running from problems. We may need to humble ourselves to face some of our giants, but the freedom from overcoming the problem is well worth the humbling. It is time to make your mind up to not stay in any current bad situation you have in your life. Do not get stuck and give up your future because you are afraid to face your giant.
God is with you and will confront your issue with you. God wants you to be healed.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:
Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen
