Sometimes it feels like God has disappointed us

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) 13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [a]infuses inner strength into me; I am [b]self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Many of us have things going on right now in our life that is hurting us. We may have pain from the past or pain currently. Sometimes it feels like God has disappointed us. God’s timing and ways are not always the same timing and ways we have. No matter what pain we are going through or have gone through God is the answer to healing. The bible has an answer to every problem we have.

Obedience to God will help us straighten out every problem we have. God will never ask us to do something that will ultimately not be the best for us to do. We need to get our mind off of what we think we want and need and get our mind on following what God wants for us to do for our lives. God will guide us through every decision we need to make and He will be with us through the difficult times. I would rather go through something difficult with God’s guidance than without it.

We can handle whatever we need to handle through Christ who strengthens us! We can trust God completely – there is absolutely no need for us to worry. We need to learn to trust God one day at a time. It is easy to say not worry but difficult to actually do. When we worry it actually reveals to us the amount of trust we have in God.

Part of trusting God is having unanswered questions. We need to learn to be at peace when we don’t know the answer to all of our situations in life. True trust in God will bring great happiness to your life. It is such an honor that no matter what my problem is, I can trust God in my problem because I know He is working on my situation.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP) Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, and you are not quite sure how, it is as simple as saying a prayer to God letting Him know you are ready to accept Him into your life. Say this prayer if you would like to invite Jesus to live in your heart:

Father God, I love you and believe in you. I need you Lord and I am sorry for my sins and the way that I live. Lord, I want you in my life. I receive Jesus as my savior and Lord. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose from the dead. Lord take me as I am and make me the way you want me to be. God, thank you for saving me and being with me on my journey. I am looking forward to my journey with you Lord. I know you will equip me for my journey and I am glad I have you by my side as I walk this walk of Life. Thank you Lord, I love you. Amen

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
