It is never too late for us to begin again

Isaiah 61:7 (AMP) Instead of your [former] shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

Have you spent many days, months, or years feeling hopeless? Some of us can look at our past and current circumstances and wonder how can anybody possibly tell me to have hope given my past and my current situation. The devil will do everything he can to keep us in a place of hopelessness in our lives. We can regain that hope back.

It is never too late for us to begin again in life but it takes a bit of a change in the way we think about things. It is up to us to change our attitude. Nobody can change that for us. When we remain hopeful, confident and positive in the middle of a miserable circumstance we are powerful. God has a wonderful plan for our lives. It certainly will not be an easy journey to regain our hope, but it is a possible journey. With God all things are possible.

In order to move forward from our past, we have to get rid of some things that have stuck with us from situations. Some of those things are unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment. In order to move forward we have to forgive. We may even need to forgive ourselves. It is up to us to forgive and move on. It may not seem fair to forgive, but God has certainly forgiven us for our past sins and current sins.

It may be tough to find joy and hope in our current circumstance, but we can rejoice in our current situation when we have hope. It is time for us to refuse to let the Devil take control of our lives and take back what is ours! Make your mind up that you will have the good plan God has for your life.

Romans 5:3-5 (AMP)  Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of [a]character (approved faith and [b]tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] [c]joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
