We can choose be easy to get along with

2 Timothy 2:23-24 (AMP)23 But refuse (shut your mind against, have nothing to do with) trifling (ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels.24 And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong.

People are not going to be there for us all the time, but God is.  It is important we maintain peace with God and peace ourselves, and peace with other people.  People are going to disappoint us and we may even disappoint ourselves but God will help us with our weaknesses.

We can choose be easy to get along with.  Everything we feel strife about in relationships is not always the fault of the other person or people.  It just might be us that is making the situation the way it is.  Be happy to be the person that God created you to be and love others for who God created them to be.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
