John 10:10 (AMP)10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows).
Celebrate your victories. Don’t waste time being upset about mistakes or the problems in life. When we focus on what is wrong it can make our problems bigger than our victories. We can do what we can do in our life, and what we cannot do we leave up to God. It is okay for us to enjoy life while God is working on our problem. When we are busy trying to do God’s work to solve our problems, it can steal our joy. Give yourself a break.
The Devil wants to steal our joy. He wants us to focus on our bad habits and the things we are doing wrong rather than what we are doing right. A lot of times there are things in life that we cannot do anything about and those are the things that upset us the most. If we cannot do anything about it then we really need to not get upset – because being upset will not change the fact that we cannot control the situation. We may not be able to change our situation but we can change the way we react to it.
Being happy is a choice and an action. We choose not to let the Devil steal our joy anymore and we take action by thinking positive thoughts rather than negative thoughts. Stop looking at how far you have to go and start looking at how far you have come.
Celebrate life. Celebrate yourself. You were wonderfully made by God. It is time we celebrate the life that God has given us.
Hebrews 12:2 (AMP)2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
