You have not failed God

Philippians 3:12 (AMP)12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

Even if we do not do everything right, God will help us.  We don’t have to think that God will not help us just because we make mistakes.  We have not failed God.  God will take us back anywhere we seem to be on our journey in life.  All we have to do is ask God.  God is merciful and loves us.  God knows us and knows what we will do before we even do it.

Even when we make mistakes we have to be determined to press pass our guilt, shame, and lies from the Devil and take hold of what God promises for us.  Sometimes we just don’t seem to truly understand that God sent His son Jesus to die for us so we can be forgiven.  We have to take hold of that forgiveness and move on with our lives.  Don’t let shame keep you from moving forward.

Be repentant, ask God to forgive you, and He will.  It really is that simple.

Genesis 32:26-30 (AMP)26 Then He said, Let Me go, for day is breaking. But [Jacob] said, I will not let You go unless You declare a blessing upon me.27 [The Man] asked him, What is your name? And [in shock of realization, whispering] he said, Jacob [supplanter, schemer, trickster, swindler]!28 And He said, Your name shall be called no more Jacob [supplanter], but Israel [contender with God]; for you have contended and have power with God and with men and have prevailed.29 Then Jacob asked Him, Tell me, I pray You, what [in contrast] is Your name? But He said, Why is it that you ask My name? And [a][the Angel of God declared] a blessing on [Jacob] there.30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel [the face of God], saying, For I have seen God face to face, and my life is spared and not snatched away.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
