People are not super beings, they are just people

John 2 (AMP) 24 But Jesus [for His part] did not trust Himself to them, because He knew all [men];25 And He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man [needed no evidence from anyone about men], for He Himself knew what was in human nature. [He could read men’s hearts.]

This doesn’t say Jesus didn’t trust them, it says he didn’t trust himself to them because he knew all men and what it was like to be human.  He knew what is in human nature.  Why can’t we be like that and not blame folks for hurting us when we do things to hurt others?  We tend to have wrong expectations about others.  People are not super beings, they are just people.  We are all short of the glory of God and we should not put an expectation on somebody to not do anything to upset us. We need to learn to develop an attitude of mercy toward people’s failures.

When we are merciful we understand that people are human and make mistakes.  When you understand that people are human then you can just love them the way they are.  Thank Jesus that I am loved just the way I am.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
