Rest comes when we let God take care of the offense rather than trying to handle it ourselves

Philippians 2 (AMP) Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not [merely] his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]

We need to be so much more easy-going.  When we get angry to those that hurt us the anger is just as bad as the offense that made us angry.  Rest comes when we let God take care of the offense rather than trying to handle it ourselves.

We are not perfect and we cannot expect other people to be perfect.  If we were perfect we would not need Jesus.  We all have weaknesses so we need to remember that when we start to get filled with unforgiveness and bitterness toward others who offend us.  We must develop a merciful attitude toward others and remember that each and every one of us make mistakes on a daily basis and fall short of the Glory of God.

A humble person knows what a mess they are and how much they need God.   We all need to practice a little bit of humility.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
