Put your trust in God rather than your own ability

Proverbs 3:5 (AMP) Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

Part of trusting God is not having answers to everything in life – including our problems.  Give worry to God.  We can live a life free from worry and concern about what others think of us.  We need to change the way we talk about our problems.  Instead of talking about our problem, we can talk about how great God is in the midst of our problem.  Sometimes we tend to forget that God is working in the midst of our problem.  Or if we don’t forget we don’t seem to focus on how great God can be as much as we focus on our problem.  Whatever it is we talk about most is what seems bigger – so for a lot of us that means our problem seems bigger than the God who is taking care of our problem.

It is time to start enjoying life and stop focusing on the problem but the solution right in front of us – God.  God is our solution to everything.  Worry will not help us one little bit.  It will take a while to change our thought pattern but we can do it.

Put your trust in God rather than your own ability to resolve your problems and your life and attitude can change drastically.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
