Worry does not change the situation but it can change our behavior

Philippians 4:13 (AMP) 13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [a]infuses inner strength into me; I am [b]self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

We all have things in our lives that hurt us.  We have pain from the past and pain in current situations.  The good news is that God is our answer.  We may experience disappointment with God from time to time.  God’s timing is not always our timing.  Asking for God’s help is not just asking Him to help us but learning His Word through our trial.  The bible has an answer for every problem we may have.

Obedience to God is an answer to many of our problems.  God will never tell us to do anything that ultimately will not be the very best thing for us.  We cannot give up.  We need to focus on progressing and pressing on.  Sometimes our thoughts can get in the way of us progressing.

We need to learn to think positive and God thoughts on a regular basis in the midst of our trials.  Eventually, it will become a habit to think good thoughts.  We can do whatever it is we need to do in life through God who strengthens us.  God loves us unconditionally and we do not need to live in fear of what we have to face.

We can trust God fully and completely and there is no reason that we should waste our time worrying.  The first response to our problem should be going to God and letting Him know we trust Him in our situation.  We can experience more joy and happiness in our lives when we learn how to trust God in our situation.  There is no need for us to worry because it is pointless.  Worry does not change the situation but it can change our behavior and the way we react to people and things.

God gives us grace to handle each day.

Matthew 6:31-34 (AMP) 31 Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? 32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. 33 But seek ([a]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([b]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [c]taken together will be given you besides. 34 So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

About lisajohnson401

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
