You may be one decision away from seeing a miracle

Joshua 24:15 (AMP)  15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Don’t be ashamed of being a Christian.  Don’t let there be compromise in your life.  Don’t’ be like everyone else in the world.  God sees everything we do. God also sees our heart.  We are faced with decisions every single day.  How many times are we tempted to compromise each day and take the easy way out of doing things even when we know it is not what we should do? Taking the high road and doing what God wants us to do is not always going to be easy.  Many times is a very lonely and unfortunately not always a well-traveled road.

Listen to your instinct deep down inside and follow the path that God has set out for you.  We may be one decision away from seeing great miracles in our life.  Seek God first and then all things will be added to your life.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)  33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.

  1. Lisa, I really like the “one decision away from a miracle” concept. I have never thought of it that way, but it’s very true! We may be right on the edge of our miracle and blow it because we are tired of “waiting” Great post!
