Confidence can set you free – God wants you to be unique

James 4:1-3 (AMP)  1 WHAT LEADS to strife (discord and feuds) and how do conflicts (quarrels and fightings) originate among you? Do they not arise from your sensual desires that are ever warring in your bodily members?  2 You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask.  3 [Or] you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives. Your intention is [when you get what you desire] to spend it in sensual pleasures.

Everybody seems to be mad about something.    We cannot look at what everybody else has or does and be jealous because we do not have that thing or cannot do what they do well.  No matter how good we are at something, somebody can do it better.  Just because somebody does something better it does not mean they are better than us.  It is our inner character we should be concerned with.

God has a unique plan for us.  We need to trust God that He will give us exactly what we want and need at the exact right time.  Sometimes God waits for our inner man to be ready for what He has in store for us.  He may have something He wants to give us but our character needs to be ready for that very thing.

Confidence can set us free from wanting things that other people have.  Joy is not based on what we have but who we are in Christ.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
