Matthew 7:12-14 (AMP) 12 So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets. 13 Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.
It’s easy to walk down the wide path when we can do whatever we want. Many are called but few are chosen to rise up and take responsibility. We don’t do what’s right because we feel like doing what’s right; we do what is right because it is right. The narrow path is doing right because its right, the broad path is doing whatever you feel like when you want to.
Whatever we sow we will ultimately reap. If we keep doing just what we feel like doing we will reap the results of doing what we feel like doing instead of what we should be doing. When we do what we feel like instead of what we should be and we get negative results we tend to blame everyone else except ourselves. We need to take a look at what we need to change before we start blaming everything and everyone around us. There’s a lot of power we have over our own life. If you want people to appreciate you then you should appreciate others. If you want to be complimented the compliment others.
Make a decision to not just soak up the Word but to become a fruit bearing Christian.
