We always have the opportunity to be kind

Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP)
22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

What’s the difference between kindness and goodness?  Kindness is more of our attitude and goodness is the things we do because of our kind attitude.  Being kind comes natural to some people and not so much for other people.  The good news is God has equipped us to change and He has given us kindness, we just have to learn how to use it.  We always have an opportunity to be kind.

What we focus on is what matures in our lives.  If we focus on getting everything want, then we might just become more selfish.  If we focus on the fruit of the spirit and obeying God then that is what will develop in our life.  Look at your daily life and see what is really top priority.  Is it God?  Is it developing in Spiritual maturity?  The more we focus and learn about these things the more we develop these fruits.

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
