Be happy in your own abilities

Proverbs 14:30 (AMP)
30 A calm
and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones.

We have to stop being jealous of what other people have and realize that God has a plan for us.  It’s not good to be unhappy for somebody when they are blessed.  If you have a little jealousy of others, you have to fight those feelings.

It’s easy to get jealous of people who do things better than us.  No matter how good we do something, somebody will always be able to do it better.  We have to learn that we are just as valuable to God as the person who can do things better than us.  Knowing who you are in Christ and being confident in your own abilities releases power in your life.

About lisajohnson401

My true belief is that the best way to preach is by our actions and not our words. However, we need some daily inspiration to keep us on our path. We as Christians have a responsibility not to judge others by our words but to show the love of Christ by loving them where they are at on their personal journey in life...and if they never turn their life over to Christ, continue to love them for who they are - after all God does.
